Project Looking Glass

Project Looking Glass is a project of Starfleet Intelligence, designed to provide real- time intelligence from distant parts of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. There are six ships in this highly classified program, all of which are Miranda class starships rebuilt from the keel up. Boasting the latest in sensors and communications equipment, these ships are designed to penetrate enemy territory and gain intelligence on a possible hostile threat and return intact. These Mirandas were also equipped with the latest in weaponry and are equipped with ablative armor. They are also equipped to diffuse weapons locks and to be practically invisible to sensors due to her electronics and hull overlay. Their job is not to fight, but to use their stealthy abilities to return with the information intact.
