Nugra: Hello, Mister Rosek. May I thank you for your bravery in the line of fire.

Rosek: ::nods:: Yes, sir. Thank you, sir.

Nugra: ::sitting:: What can I do for you, Ensign?

Rosek: ::pauses:: I heard Commander Vess is transferring back to Medical for a moment, leaving an opening in Ops. With your permission, sir, I'd like to switch departments to fill that opening.

Nugra: Is there a problem with your posting to Engineering?

Rosek: ::shakes her head:: I thought given the...excitement...of the last mission, that it would be a nice change of pace.

Nugra: Of course. I can approve your transfer to Ops though understand that I cannot guarantee your return to engineering if you wish to go back at a later date. Is that acceptable?

Rosek: Yes, sir. I understand.

Nugra: Then it is done. Change in to red and be ready to report to the bridge when it is your shift.

Rosek: ::nods:: Yes, sir. Thank you, sir.

:: She stood to leave and the Gorn rose with her. ::

Nugra: Hang in there, Ensign, we all have been through horrible things. It does get easier in the end.

Rosek: ::smiles:: Yes, sir.

::She exited his Ready Room, significantly more relaxed. Perhaps this change would be for the best.::
