Directions

For this same template, but without the ship at the top, use Template:CharSum. To use as the intro blurb on your character page (or for any other reason), just type the following:

{{ShipCharSum
|Ship =
|ShipNick = (optional - if you'd like the title to hide the "-C"
or whatever letter from your ship's name)
|ShipClass =
|ShipReg =
|CO1-First =
|CO1-Last =
|CO2-First = (optional, in case you've served under two COs on the same ship)
|CO2-Last = (optional, see above)
|CO3-First = (optional, in case you've served under three COs on the same ship)
|CO3-Last = (optional, see above)
|Color =
|FirstName =
|LastName =
|CurrentPost =
|Image = (file name of your character pic)
|PrevPost = (optional, any or all posts you've previously served on aboard this ship)
|StartDate = (Real time date, or Stardate, whichever you prefer)
|EndDate = (ditto)
|Summary = (the summary description of your character)
}}

Example

USS Endeavour

NCC-1895-A
Galaxy class
Commanding Officer: Geoffrey Macarius

First Officer
Henry Jackal

Having been captured on the Endeavour's first mission and placed in the brig, Jackal was released and asked to assist Captain Macarius in understanding the disaster and getting the ship back to its own time after the entire crew, save the captain and himself, were killed by an unknown spacial and temporal anomaly.
