• Graduation Thesis: Although her degree was in General Advanced Engineering, Lyanna Avery began to focus on Spacial Engineering and Physics near the end of her time at Stanford University. Her graduation thesis focused on methods of stabilizing man-made subspace anomalies. Her faculty adviser for her thesis, Dr. Aito Rho, is one of the Federation's most accomplished subspace engineers. After seeing her work, Dr. Rho convinced Lyanna to transmit an application to Starfleet Academy and served as her primary reference throughout the application period.
