Such a clash in learning lead to Ka'Rul becoming quite confused in his younger years. He became very violent and was often subject to investigation by the authorities. It wasn't until the death of his parents, an appearent "hit" taken against them by house KaT'TorG, that he was taken back into the klingon culture. From there he would serve on the IKS Rh'Tak, under one of the most ruthless commanders to ever serve.
