She has one son, named [[Lachlan Crauw]], which she raised all by herself. She even took him with her on her trips to the toughest and remote places, even while he was at a young age. Something other people frequently frowned upon, yet she didn’t care. 

Lachlan, did not follow in her footsteps career wise, and leads his own life.
