The '''''Te'Lir''''' is a Cardassian ''Janissary'' class assault cruiser in operation as of 2391 and captained by Gul Mahti.

The ''Te'Lir'' was searching for the {{USS|Mercury}} on SD 239108.17 when it found and then engaged the rogue science ship in combat. At the suggestion of his first officer Glinn Romek, Gul Mahti reluctantly agreed to send out a vague distress call asking for assistance from any nearby Cardassian Union vessel.
