<p>Mek is an old Klingon with a storied past, though he is loath to talk about it. Some people say he once fought against the Federation. Others think he never made anything of himself and is the reason why he's on the Gorkon.
 No one knows for sure. Mek is often singing and playing his accordion in the lounge to entertain the crew. He thoroughly enjoys his work and believes serving on a ship named for the famed Klingon Chancellor is a huge honor.</p>
