We all know and love our Trek, but there are those amongst us who know it, with a depth and breadth that often surprises and delights us. The Russ Bar is awarded to those amongst us whose knowledge of Trek lore is encyclopaedic, and who incorporate that into their writing. And oh boy, Trek lore is massive after decades of space stories. This writer keeps impressing us with his knowledge of the lore, especially in the technological level, since he joined us on the Conny. These details add to the color of the whole picture, making it easy to imagine these scenes as if they were on the big screen.
