Evangeline was born on star date 236706.02. She was born on Earth, New Zealand. She grew up as an only child, both her parents we're musicians but Evangeline was never very good at playing instruments. As a child she'd always interested by science and would often be found reading up on the latest discoveries. At the age of 9 she decided that she wanted to enter Starfleet and from then on worked hard to achieve that dream.

When she was 16 a Betazoid by the name of Arod Gra moved to her school. They quickly became close friends and soon after started dating. On star date 238712.24 (when Evangeline was 20) she and Arod got engaged.

A few months later Evangeline was accepted into Starfleet Academy.
