Backstory/Timeline
Cadet Lynn was born two years after the occupation of Bajor ended. She and her brother spent their infant years in the care of her grandmother, as her mother, a renowned musician had gone missing and was feared enslaved by the Cardassians, or dead. She returned when Cadet Lynn was five years old and Cadet Lynn does not know much about those five years. Her father, a resistance fighter in the Bajoran militia instilled a deep pride in the military in his children. Cadet Lynn watched as her home world was rebuilt and grew up wanting to do her part to help. She was trained in music by her mother, but was far surpassed by her brother talent-wise. She chose to follow in her father's footsteps with a military career. To her chagrin, her brother also chose this path. She enrolled in Starfleet and hopes to make her father proud and one day outrank her brother, with whom she engages in friendly rivalry. She has an almost unshakable faith in authority - almost to a fault.
