Talk:USS Challenger/Non-Playing Character Listing
I was thinking that perhaps we could standardize this listing and bring all of the departments onto one page? I think it'll be easier for the reader, and easier to maintain. I used the Triumphant Master Crew List as a guide, and here's what I came up with for the Ops department.
(Also: I noticed some discrepancies with post titles and ranks, so I tried to sort them out as best I could).

- I tried it, sir, and it over laps the menu when it is installed and there is no room for a picture. I think a change to font size 1 would work. The lists were given to me, so I didn't change them. Toni 23:23, 27 August 2007 (CDT)
- I made some changes to the version that's on the main page. I removed the per-line font tags, and assigned font per table, which cleans up the code a lot and makes it easier to update. Also, I adjusted the column widths to make it fit properly. I use a much higher screen resolution than most, apparently, which is why I didn't realize there was an issue with table width.
- I completed the security department. However, anyone who was marked "Petty Officer" or "Crewman" I used the 2nd class graphic. You'll want to go back and change it for whatever specific rank they are. (i.e.- 1st class, 2nd class, 3rd class) You can find those ranks here: Starfleet Rank Index: Enlisted. --Wolf /talk page 18:49, 31 August 2007 (CDT)

Toni, just a point of clarification - "Yeoman" is NOT a rank, it is a job title, like "chief engineer". A Yeoman would still carry a rank (most often from the Enlisted group, but sometimes an officer would be a Yeoman). A Yeoman is like a personal assistant ("executive aide" if you will). -Varaan 11:29, 5 December 2007 (CST)
