Don't Vulcans fit better into T3 ("Species with two lobed brain, touch only") instead of T2 ("Same species, no contact required") - Lt.JG Salak; Chief Engineer, USS Independence 04:48, 5 July 2006 (CDT)
- I think they're probably in the middle. There was TOS episode where Spock "feels" the death of many Vulcans, far across space. --Wolf /talk page 13:38, 5 July 2006 (CDT)
- I would actually consider that any T-rating (with the exception of the T-1 {Ferengi and such}) would be able to do everything of their rating level and all lower levels. Thus, T3 Vulcans would be able to do things that a T2 could. Sorry if this seems a bit obvious, but it looks like you're saying that a T3 and T2 are variations in the 'type' of telepathy, rather than the 'power level'. --RogueGypsy47 07:07, 6 July 2006 (CDT)
- I agree with that. But right now, Vulcans are rated T2. So Salak is suggesting they should be T3. Now that I consider this more closely, yes, I believe that they should be T3. As Rogue mentions, that gives them all the abilities "under" T3 as well, which lines up closer to what we've seen on the show. I'll go ahead and update the listing. --Wolf /talk page 18:43, 6 July 2006 (CDT)
