Talk:House Fanel

The creation of House Fanel is kinda tricky since I've taken a lot of inspirations from many media from games, books, anime, and movies.

I think the very first inspiration was from the book series Dune by Frank Herbert and then by the man's son.

The name Fanel if you are a fan of classic anime was from the series called Escaflowne. Which the name of Jacen's future son Van will be named after. Other Fanels like Casval, Artesia, and Zeon, Jacen's father was from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam.

The way of the warrior thing going is my belief in of a group where one needs to return to the basis of why one fights not because it's orders and what country you are allied with, but the very core basis of a man is one who will brave fire and dangers simply for the sake of it and not because he or she's maschoistic. House Fanel is a family of pure ideals. Over the nation they rule which is still affected by politics.

I've based some parts of how Fanels are trained inspired from the Spartans of ancient Greeks, not the real true history of the Spartans, but the myth of the spartans, how they create powerful fearsome warriors and in this future case of non-sexism, fearsome female warriors as well. How they fight is the result of training since birth. It doesn't mean they are lean mean fighter machines, but it means that at the drop of a hat, they are ready to rock'n roll and it wouldn't matter what their occupation is.
