- Zimedia Nijal was an engineer on the USS 'Oumuamua with Cabrillo. The young Cardassian and Cabrillo became friends as soon as she joined the crew and Cabrillo sees her enthusiastic attitude as a reminder of himself when he was refresh out of the academy.
Starfleet Career
TK Cabrillo graduated Starfleet Academy 239204 and was immediately assigned to the Cheyenne Class USS Cape Horn as part of the Engineering department. Cabrillo served his first six months with distinction and earned a promotion to Lieutenant JG twelve months after joining the Cape Horn's crew.
On Stardate 239511 Cabrillo was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and was assigned to the engineering department aboard the USS Endevour-A.
On Stardate 239807 Cabrillo was reduced in rank to Ensign following a disciplinary actions review aboard the USS Endevour-A. Cabrillo was relieved of his position and subsequently placed on probation for his actions during an away mission aboard the the Endevour-A.
On Stardate 239906 Cabrillo was transferred to the USS 'Oumuamua and assigned to Tactical under the command of Commodore V'Airu. The assignment to tactical. although temporary saw the first contact with the United Dominion of Planets and the rescue of the USS Thor and crew from the Class O planet Okaea wihtin the Gamma Quadrant.
