The subsequent scouting mission into the Igloo Cluster brought an end to the imposter's time on the Independence; transported to the Skiptrace, she was unable to return to the Independence - Quinn had managed to effect an escape from the Breen ship on which she was being held captive. Quinn's return to the Independence was less than happy, as she discovered that both Lily and Hayden were gone, and that with his promotion to First Officer, David appeared to have chosen his career over her.
