Second secondary character. A childhood survivor of the assimilation of El-Auria, Vada went on to settle on Earth with her mother, and enlisted in Starfleet as soon as El-Aurianly possible. Her Starfleet career lasted 72 years, spanning from a torpedo bay technician to a senior instructor at Starfleet Academy for a few decades. Unable to cope with the idea of facing the Borg once again, she retired in good standing from Starfleet after the Battle of Wolf 359. She wrote for the FNS during the Dominion War and would go on to have a healthy career as an independent journalist. Her four-year story researching the aftermath of the destruction of Romulus is considered among her best work. In the months leading up to Frontier Day she arrived in the [[Alpha Isles]], and is currently a passenger aboard the {{USS|Khitomer}}. | |||
