Jophry Calhan: Difference between revisions

Lieutenant Doctor Jophry Calhan is the current Chief Medical Officer aboard [[USS Ursa Major]]. Although still at the very beginning of his Starfleet career, Jophry has already been recognised and promoted to senior rank and a respectable position aboard the ship. Most of the time he can be found at his office or reserch labs, commiting to work.

Pacifist by belief, fighter by genes. Jophry's rather outgoing and helpful person of calm demeanor and seriousness. His first obligation is to the people he serves and lives with. Close second is work of which he is proud and values it very highly. Romantic at heart. In times of great emotional stress he tends to seal off and, quite surprisingly, displays more aggressive stances, but his personal safeties had not yet failed him in critical spots. Although his values contain ban for violence, he is capable of rush acts if they serve "greater good". However, he's not yet specified exact definition of the concept.

Behind the exterior of a reliable and decisive person Jophry has a fair share of weak points, most interlinked to the relations with his father. Some of those weaknesses are inability to come to terms with failures, a premonition of dormant aggresivness and need for competition between him and his father which is, in fact, a masked try to finally get his parent's attention and appreciation.
