Hannibal loves his sister, and did his best to keep her in the dark about his Special Forces work, but she found out anyway. Does not contact her nearly enough, but they are very close. He is happy that she decided to leave DS9 and serve with him.

Hannibal was born to two loving parents on Earth, his sister following four years later. Hannibal grew bigger and stronger than most children, and he had an aggressive streak which never ceased to get him into trouble. He consistently could out muscle, outrun, and outfight just about anyone...generating whispers that somehow Hannibal Parker had been genetically enhanced which reverberated through Starfleet. Such talk enraged Hannibal’s' father and distressed his mother...so much so that Hannibal was examined by Admiral Leonard McCoy at Starfleet Medical, who, after examining Hannibal, told his father that Hannibal was the fortunate combination of genes and DNA. He also found that Hannibal’s' adrenal gland was bigger than most, which accounted for the freakish strength, size and aggressiveness.He also had a heart which could circulate blood more efficiently and an abnormally high lung capacity, enabling Hannibal to outdistance and outrun most humanoids. With that information in hand, Hannibal’s' father, Ryland, began to teach his son to be a warrior, just as he had been. The lessons started young, and by the time he was fifteen, Hannibal was a double black belt in karate and had mastered other forms of martial arts. Weapons training had also started early for him, with Hannibal mastering a phaser rifle by the time he was thirteen. At sixteen, Hannibal had passed the Starfleet Marine exit physical tests, but could not enter for two more years. Hannibal was the latest Parker to be involved with the military. He could trace his familys' service from a relative serving in the United States Army as a Buffalo Soldier(hence his attachment to his .44-40 Henry rifle) to more recent relatives serving as sailors and Marines.

They were also gifted another starship, the Miranda CLass [[USS Bronwyn]], found adrift in the Sand Bar buy the Laudeans. Refit with the desire to crew the ship with both Laudeans and Starfleet personnell, and to give the Embassy added protection and as an escort ship for USS Thunder-A. The first mission with the Bronwyn took the ship back to prehistoric Duronis, where Hannibal was was swamped by a tidal wave, attacked by a flying hellcat and almost incinerated by lava flow. In the process of all that, he also save the life of his friend Tyr Waltas.

That was only the beginning. Tasked with his[[Shadow Team]] to infiltrate The Zone for the purpose of destroying it and capturing Deka, known associate of criminal mastermind Gaev, who was killed on the surface of Duronis, Hannibals' team cleared the way for the USS Thunder and USS Bronwyn by deactivating two Cardassian weapons platforms and infiltrating The Zone itself. Taking over their Ops Center until the two starships could fight off the pirate fleets which were also guarding the approaches to the asteroid. After fighting several skirmishes, the Shadow team was relieved by the Marines coming from the Bronwyn, which freed the Shadow team to take down Deka. After another fierce but brief firefight, DEka was taken into custody. In going through his records, it was now no longer a rumor...Deka was connected to the [[Orion Syndicate]], and they wanted the Luxis system.
