With the crews in position on both ships, the drill commenced inside of the nebula. Both vessels used every trick they could in the hopes of finding the other one first, and the ''Artemis'' was able to get off the first shot. Unluckily for them, the use of phasers inside of the nebula triggered a plasma fire on the ''Artemis'' that required repair crews to be scrambled. Commander Yalu proceeded to Engineering along with Ensigns Savel and Vedic in order to initiate the repairs. When the arrived, all that they found was a distraction that had pulled them away from where the real threat had gone to.
