Evan was born in 2359 in the area of <b>Boston/MA, Earth</b>. He never met his biological mother, as he was taken into social care and raised by <b>foster parents</b> from the age of two. This never turned out to be a problem - actually, Evan proves an excellent example for the functioning social system of the federation. He lived in the loving home of Sandra and Boris <b>Stirling</b> and also went by the name of Evan Stirling for some periods during his life. He has an older sister who still lives on Earth with her family. However, since their parents have died, they did not see each other a lot. <br>

After finishing school, Evan went into <b>shipping and cargo business in the private sector</b>. He worked on outposts, coordinating the shipping of tools, food and shelter material - sometimes for the federation, sometimes for different parties. He found himself <b>fascinated with space</b> very early on, but never saw himself in the actual fleet. <br>

After the death of his parents he went to work in more <b>isolated outposts</b> for a small but profitable shipping company, continuing to supervise cargo and rations of all sorts for different clients. For his job, he naturally <b>learned a lot of languages</b>, as the private translation devices often weren't as highly evolved as the fleet's. He got used to <b>being on his own</b> a lot of the time, sometimes spending several weeks alone in one outpost, distracting himself merely with books and TV. Due to his constant moving and his wide variety of clients, he worked with a lot of different people, species and parties. <br>

In his mid 30s Evan still <b>hadn't really settled anywhere</b> for more than a few years, and he decided to apply for the academy out of sheer impulse. To his own surprise he got accepted as a cadet and <b>graduated from academy</b> four years later at the age of 40, having deepened his knowledge in languages and communicational strategies. He majored in intelligence, minored in com/ops and was assigned to <b>Starbase 118 Ops</b> as an Intelligence Officer. <br>

Alora was the commanding officer in Evan's academy training. They met up later and got along well. He is very fond of her leading style and is looking forward to meeting her again some day.
