Like many Saurian children, T'Lingot was born to a pair of distillers, contributing to the nearly inexhaustible supply of Saurian Brandy. He had an idyllic childhood, marked by frequent extended family get-togethers. It was these get-togethers that set him on his path to Starfleet. On rare occasion, Uncle Kadriz, a senior officer on the USS ''Peerless'', would attend, and the events were all the more exciting when he did. Tales of heroism and intrigue marked the get togethers, and T'Lingot, more than any of the small cousins, was enraptured. He marveled at the things Uncle Kadriz had seen, and envied his ''other'' family. A crew of hundreds aboard a ''Nebula''-class starship seemed like a paradise. Endless new faces to meet, stories to share, lives to live. He didn't know what he'd be good at, but he knew whatever it was, he would be good at it in Starfleet. | |||
