Born in 2375, on Earth to Fritea Nedd and Filim Arlill. Toxin's parents had met through Fritea's activities in StarFleet. As a Science Officer, Toxin's mother Fritea, had visited many non-federation and federation planets to carry out surveys on climate change, being her specialty. Fritea had met Toxin's father, Filim, on Tellarite, while working on climate system repairs and doing some research. Filim had been assigned from the Tellarite Core Planet Management Service to work with Starfleet to make the repairs. The rest is a bit of history, they met, were together for several years, had Toxin, and parted ways. Filim was more interested in Tellarite, and Fritea the rest of the universe. | Born in 2375, on Earth to Fritea Nedd and Filim Arlill. Toxin grew up with his mother on Earth often spending when his mother was teaching about climate systems at Star Fleet. Often he'd find a open holodeck and spend hours learning about their varying operational systems and flying so many different shuttles and ships, basically anything he could get access to. His holodeck time was cut short about two years into his mother's time at the academy when he was caught using a depolarizing isolinear chip to bypass a "few" security protocols and fly some of their Allie's ships, his favorite being a bird of prey, they were rough to look at but they were agile to maneuver.
Fast forward to 2390, Toxin had been recognize by his teachers in secondary for his outstanding engineering and mathematics abilities. Having already been accelerated for two years, he could go no further in secondary and was recommended for early admission post secondary studies at MIT (Olde-Massachusetts Institute of Technology). He was on the fast tract to being on of only a few non-humans to graduate summa cum laude. During his second year at MIT it was obvious he was bored with the studies and ready for what's next. | Fast forward to 2390, Toxin had been recognize by his teachers in secondary for his outstanding engineering and mathematics abilities. Applying to Starfleet at 19 years old he was initially rejected, based on age. His mother, familiar with a few academy commandants made a personal request for his file to be reconsidered, based on his abilities, knowledge, and age, and he was accepted. Passing the Starfleet entrance exam, he scored four points behind the exam record and was accepted into Starfleet Academy. | Applying to Starfleet at 19 years old he was initially rejected, based on age. Once Toxin was scolded at academy for "wasting" chemical thrusters during a friendly race with a few other cadets. The cadets were racing form Earth to the moon and back, Toxin thought he could get a lead advantage if he cleared Earth's atmosphere first and could jump to sub-light sooner. Well... the instructors felt that violating safe flight speeds was a bit more critical than winning the race; might have earned him a few days grounded.
