 At age 17 she began studying Xenoanthropology at Gideon Central University.  She enjoyed her studies, but at the end found herself wanting to look after people rather than study them.  She saw a Starfleet recruitment holo-poster at Gideon Central University. On a whim and out of character she decided to take risk and apply, thinking she had nothing to lose.  To her surprise, she was accepted and moved to San Francisco, Earth to join Starfleet Academy.
-Olisia-Mai is introverted and can be shy, likes to keep to herself and deliberately only has a few close friends.  She always wears her long blonde hair in a plait over her right shoulder, and feels uncomfortable if it moves from there (unless she is walking briskly or running).
