Tai Ilsam: Difference between revisions

Tai was born to parents Olsam, Mara, and Emix Greyes on Stardate 236203.10 and grew up on Bactrica in a nunnery, as was custom for genderless thirds. Also as was custom, he became a part of a bonded triad when he came of age. However, disaster struck when his partners died in a crash. Instead of performing suicide, as was expected of genderless thirds when their bondmates died, he elected to leave Bactrica and study psychology on Earth. After attending undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Hong Kong on Earth, he decided to pursue a career in Starfleet as a counselor specializing in grief and loss. Tai enjoys off-duty pursuits of meditation, Muay Thai, swimming, music (plays the Pipa), and painting. After graduating, Tai was posted as a counselor to the {{USS|Blackwell}}, a ship assigned to the Andaris Task Force.

Tai is likable and calm on the outside, especially when helping others. He cares so much more for helping others that he sometimes loses sight of himself. This could cause problems in his personal life. The most likely scenario is that he will be so caught up in trying to help others that he will become stressed out when it comes to his everyday life. He is a very open-minded man and will accept friends of all sorts, regardless of their beliefs. All he cares about in a friend is that they are trying to do their best to help the world.
