I don't even know where to begin. This morning we were brought by a young Hinji acolyte to the monastery's sanctum, where a big statue that looked a bit like Lieutenant McLaren... made of a strange crystal... was located. McLaren and T'Reshik had the idea that it might give some answers to some artifacts left behind by the first Sunmother... and jeez, were they right... We ended up accessing a log of the Sunmother, an ancient alien scientist or something, named "Portal 88." She had been left behind to look after the facility, but then left to go back to her homeworld, but she'd encoded some Hinji with the ability to guard the facility... like the ombro, who it turned out was actually a Hinji after Dr. Milsap managed to help him. Also... I don't know how, but McLaren actually has some genetic connection to the Sunmother, and she was able to deactivate the interference that was keeping us there. The ombro helped us get out of the facility through a tunnel, and we ran into another Hinji, but then found an away team that was looking for us... and Wyn was with them! We just arrived back on the Constitution, and I'm in the ESPO waiting for an Ensign [[Jacob Horne]] to come help fix Georgio, who had some sort of mobile emitter failure in the Sanctum. I'm tired, but I have to make sure Georgio's okay before I can get any sleep.
