Like the typical Kerelian, his an outgoing and friendly person. During his work, he finds time to make a joke, and his favourite past time is making a joke in his head while laying motionless for hours on end. He dislikes people accidentally calling him a woman whenever they read out his first name.

Elitsa Hawksin was born in the urban city of Fae'rak on the planet Kerelia in 2364 to a Kerelian Council Member father and a renowned Psychologist. Elit was an outgoing and cheery person as a child, and was always proud of his exemplary hearing abilities.

Since young, he would be urged by his mother to take care of her office whenever she was away. He was captivated by all the different medicines that appeared in the stock office, and loved playing and mixing with the medicines. On one occasion, he was banned from ever entering her clinic after he caused an explosion which injured 3 people after putting different unknown-to-off-worlders medicine together. Regardless, he continued to sneak into and do just that.

When he was 12 years old, a Starfleet Medical Ship stopped by to do a check up on the planet. Elit sneaked aboard and was mesmerised by everything there. He wasn't sure why he was obsessed with medical care, but he went along with it. While he was wandering around, the ship left the planet and he was in distress, only found 3 days in an empty room.

Despite being repeatedly scolded by his parents over and over again, he continued reading around medical studies. At age 16, he enrolled into the Kerelian Medical Institute. His stay only lasted a year, when the school turned into a disaster-zone after an incident in one of the lab which exploded. Thankfully for him, it had nothing to do with him.

He tried his next chance at Starfleet, and was accepted, to his surprise. After completing four years there, he went to Starfleet Medical for another four years. He graduated with the almost minimum marks. He is less concerned with rank, his main objective is to enjoy.
