The Columbia has been sent to the Valorian system to consider making first contact. One of the primary goals of Starfleet is to seek out new life and new civilizations and that is essentially our mission. Valoria is a world of two very different cultures who have begun to work together to develop interstellar travel. If they are successful, the Federation hopes to extend diplomatic relations. We have one last briefing with the whole team before we beam down to the planet. I am nervous about this mission. I have some bad feelings about this mission.
