==Early Life==

Iniko's family comes from the forests in the northern part of Rania, on Duronis II. As lomales are in short supply, and necessary for reproduction, they are not exactly required by law, but certainly strongly encouraged, to enter a certain profession. Rania in general is known for being liberal and valuing education, but Iniko's family had strong ties to the one remaining coven in the area, Shaphire. Iniko's mother, Chioma, pushed very hard for jhea to join a coven. Jhe was aggressively disinterested in this career path. With the discovery of warp drive and other civilizations, Iniko saw a way to escape jheas destiny. Jhe studied physics and biology in school, but at 18 ended up joined a coven under pressure from jheas parents. Six months later jhe fled to Lokesh City to stay with jheas brother. There, jhe discovered jheas brother was involved with a small group of anti-Romulan revolutionaries. Jhe joined their group, but after several altercations with the Romulans needed to go into hiding. The group smuggled jhea off-planet to plead with the Federation to retake Duronis II from the Romulans. The group did not have enough traction at the time for the plea to be successful, but Iniko was granted asylum. Jhe joined starfleet at 21.
