After the loss of her parents Belinda was sent to live with her sister and brother on Earth where her brother

develop a lot emotionally. Up until that point she had carried a lot of fear, on the Drake she was able to face that
fear, and eventually conquer it.
 
A year after they came aboard the Drake was badly damaged during a mission. Since both sisters became bored waiting
for the ship to be repaired they decided that it was time to move to another ship, this time it became the USS Ark
Royal.
