Commissioned in 2371, she participated in the Battle of Sector 001 against the Borg, and served throughout Federation space as a diplomatic and science vessel for nearly twenty years. Now assigned to the Shoals, she works concurrently with the USS Veritas to defend remote Federation colonies while furthering exploration and discovery.
