Ensign Desdra "Des" Nyfe is a Risian/Betazoid Science Officer. After growing up in London, Earth, raised by only her mother Isla Nyfe, she found herself on board the USS Mercury where her mother was a psychiatrist.
After the Gateway Crisis of 2390 she moved back to Earth and joined the academy to become an officer. She is currently an Ensign working as a Science Officer aboard the USS Gorkon under the command of Rear Admiral Quinn Reynolds.

Years: 2391 - 2395 Studied: Science	Starfleet Academy After working on board the USS Mercury, Desdra was influenced in joining Starfleet as an officer. She always loved Science and she was completely drawn to the idea of becoming a Science Officer after the Gateway Crisis. The Mercury was deactivated, and while the others joined the USS Garuda she left and returned to Earth to join the Academy.
