Detailed
Xavier was born on Earth in Marathon Ontario, a small town somewhere near Sudbury and Thunder Bay. His singular passions were always computer science and astronomy. By age 9 he had written his own BASIC interpreter and had entertained himself wildly writing HELLO WORLD loops using the GOTO statement much to the chagrin of his father, the famous David Feid.
Despite the urgings of David, Xavier elected to attend Starfleet Academy rather than to become a software architect as his father had done. Angered and devastated his father slowly came to accept Xavier's decision not to carry on the family line of great Feids in the world of software engineering.
During his academy days Xavier successfully wrote and defended a thesis in psychocomputational engineering and its relation to chaos theoretic modes of atemporal gestalt shift-based thought patterns emerging within clusters of concurrent coordinated asymetric neural-gel-pack-based processing units against a panel of referees which included his father. He graduated 6th in his class overall and looks forward to a long and illustrious career as a Starfleet officer.
