Background Notes
Jujo, a young male Saurian, is a Civillian engineer and naturalised citizen of Proxima Sigma. He has a young family on the planet below the station and works weeks-long duty shifts on the receiving station as a maintenance engineer and then comes home to his family and community.
He is part of a mixed community on the surface of Proxima Sigma, 30% Saurian population as of a 2401 sensus. His mate is Kieqquch and is a nursing student, she is also incubating their first clutch of eggs that they expect to hatch any day.
Jujo’s work consists of scheduled and sometimes unscheduled engineering maintenance and repairs to the receiving station powerplant, environmental systems and occasionally the Solaton wave technology. His physiology is hardy, and he can survive in toxic atmospheres, and high temperatures and has infrared vision that helps him identify problems.
Jujo is scheduled and eager to leave the receiving station to begin his paternity leave when the station experiences a massive explosion, sundering it in two. He is trapped in either a damaged shuttle thrown from the blast or on the damaged station itself in what would be an uninhabitable area due to heat and dangerous levels of toxic gas his physiology allows him to be a survivor when others would perish. This is where he might be found when the Starfleet team arrive at the scene to assist. Another option is he is already on paternity leave and is called back to help either through comms or shuttle.
