Bio

Xonak was born on the Cargo Freighter Ardennais to a Vulcan father, Xokketh, and human mother, Haley Buccheri. He grew up in Deep Space and knows nothing but ship life. His father died when he was 8 years old, leaving his mother to raise him alone. Most of Xonak's childhood was easy other than the loss of his father. Among the rag-tag crew of the Ardennais, he never felt out of place. In his teen years, one of the cargo ship's engineers took him under his wing, teaching him the trade and keeping him out of trouble. It wasn't until Xonak turned 18 and joined Starfleet that he began to feel like a man with no people. He wasn't Vulcan enough for the Vulcan's, having lost his father so young, and yet he was just a bit too Vulcan to truly feel human. He had no planet to claim roots on. Instead, he only felt solid when his hands were busy. Excelling in the Engineering program at the Academy, he earned a top spot when Cadets were chosen to fill the fleet's ranks after the tragic loss of Frontier Day, earning placement on a Galaxy Class ship. He is now finishing out his final year as a Cadet training aboard the USS Astraeus.
