Background
Lafayette "Lafe" Charles Vernon was born in a small town in Kentucky on Earth. He is the youngest of four brothers and is very close with his family. All his brothers joined Starfleet in the hopes of serving on the same ship together, but that was not meant to be. After leaving Starfleet initially, and a failed marriage, Lafe decided to rejoin and go through officer training.
