The USS Marigold is an NPC Intrepid class Starfleet vessel commanded by Captain Koth Th’shrysrir. Its primary mission is science and exploration, with its theatre of operation being the surrounding areas of Starbase 173, near the Romulan Neutral Zone. The ship was named for one of those in the fleet of the Sir Francis Drake expedition between 1577 to 1580. The fleet contained five ships: the Pelican (later renamed the Golden Hind), Elizabeth, Swan, Christopher, and the Marigold.
Doz Finch served on this vessel for over a decade before she commissioned to the officer ranks and was later sent to the USS Gorkon.
