The Newsies Team is tasked with updating the community news on a regular basis.

Team members can use the links to the right to get better acquainted with the WordPress news system, and our general policies about posting news.

Who can join?

Everyone is welcome to join the team and help out! No rank requirements. Just head to the Newsies Yahoo! Group and request membership. Be sure to include your character name and current ship when you request membership, so we know who you are!

What does a team member do?

Team members ensure that we have at least one article posted on the news each day of the month. The bulk of our news each month is pre-scheduled content regarding fleet mission reports, team activities, and other administrative news. Because of that, members of the team primarily write feature articles about fleet members and important announcements, help brainstorm new ideas with other team members, and help edit content in the article queue that's been submitted for the news.

Every team member is required to submit one feature article per month. The time commitment per month is approximately one hour.
