Background

Jerry was born Jerome Milsap in Dulac, Louisiana, USA, Earth on March 20, 2354. His family lived in a small house on the edge of a bayou by the outskirts of town. His father, Amos was a popular physician serving patients in the small town while his mother Angela was a night clerk at the local Piggly Wiggly. He did well all through his school years, unlike his brother William who did just the bare minimum necessary to get by.

When Jerry graduated high school in 2372, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and study medicine. He spent eight years in medical schools throughout Louisiana before joining his father's practice. In 2384 he made the decision to join Starfleet and studied at the medical academy there until his graduation in 2392.

Jerry enjoys playing guitar and banjo, both of which he taught himself to play.
