She has recently started a romantic relationship with Quintus Lucius Raisillius. After a long period of heavy flirtation between the two, she literally fell for him when they went base jumping in the holodeck. They are pursuing a long-distance relationship while he is in the field.
Jandara was born to Saviano (Father) and Marrana (Mother) Tem in Leran Manev, Trill, the second of three children. Always a precocious and exuberant child she had a natural affinity to ships, vehicles and danger from a young age. When she was 17 she applied to the Starfleet Marines, gaining early entrance. She graduated near the top of her class as a Marine Pilot, at which time she took advanced marine training. She was stationed on Starbase 118 Ops for nearly two years, where she rose to command the marine fighter pilot contingent, Echo Company. Looking for something slightly more daring after Raisillius transferred she asked to be part of an elite squad on the front lines, ending up as part of the newly reconstituted 451st Ranger Squad.
