- Impairments: Even for an Andorian, she's extremely sensitive to external stimuli like temperature changes and loud sounds. If it gets too much, she can become more prone to aggression and feel physically ill. She is also most likely unable to have offspring without going through many surgeries.

Background
Shrega was born to the usual Andorian family of four, and had a fairly normal childhood. Her decision to apply for Starfleet academy came a bit later than for, let's say, most Terran applicants, but she was sure about her decision. Most people close to her were accepting of her decision to live off-planet, mainly because her argument of more of an Andorian presence there only helping wasn't exactly something they could disapprove of. The fact she'd be of little use in an Andorian family due to her suspected infertility also played a role.
She didn't get into the academy at her first attempt, but managed to get sufficiently high scores the next year. Though her results did vary, she was overall a fast learner.
Similar to most Andorians away from their planet, she learned to control her aggressive urges very well, and was involved in only one violent incident, which occurred in the first year of academy. As it was considered self-defense, she didn't get much trouble for it, but it did damage her reputation a bit and she doesn't like to be reminded of it.
