Background
Tahna Meru grew up on Bajor during the Occupation. She joined the Bajoran Resistance as a teenager and remained active in her cell until the Cardassians withdrew from Bajor. As a member of the Resistance, she regularly posed as a “pretty, seemingly brainless singer” in order to gather intelligence on the Cardassians and stage the occasional assassination. Unwilling to give up the fight when the Occupation ended, she joined the Skarbek crew shortly before they wound up in a Cardassian prison. Since joining the Maquis she’s had to toughen up a bit and polish her combat skills, but she still prefers to employ subterfuge to accomplish her goals.
