Background
Eldest of three, born on J'naii, Asra's parents say ze longed for the stars from the day ze was born. Ze apprenticed as a pilot the moment her parents allowed, and applied to StarFleet Academy the day she was of age.
During one of zer visits home, ze assisted two friends in inseminating a husk, as one of the friends had a genetic disorder they did not wish to pass on. The child is in the care of zer parents and only knows of Asra as a godparent.
Asra is impulsive, curious, and eager to see what else the universe holds.
