Background
Born and raised on Deneva colony, George married at a young age after falling in love with his childhood sweetheart. During his early twenties, he worked a number of jobs on a city rejuvenation project before specializing as a fine carpenter. It was only when his marriage broke down that George became disgruntled with his work and personal life, deciding that he wanted to get off of Deneva and change his Career. He enlisted in Starfleet on the first anniversary of his divorce.
