ILI templates
Hello Rich. Wanted to ask if it would be possible for you to make a couple more of your totally awesome templates. Like the Condition Red one you made for me and the SDC. Anyway what I would like is one for Quarantined species and another for Believed Extinct species. Also you mentioned at some time that you were going to alter the color from gray to green on the permitted species template. Just wanted to know if that was still the plan? Thanks. What kind of a warning template would you use for species that have been restricted to their homeworld and denied contact with the outside world?? Examples are the Wraith and the Vendorian. I could use one for them and their particular situation. Canreb (talk) 06:47, 4 May 2014 (CDT)
An interesting idea... now to implement it I will have to go back and do a little modification... of the completed species P to Z... May take me a couple weeks but I think I could do it... I think the reason I ended up using the species name twice is that I don't work on them on the wiki but e-mail them to my work computer and do the rewrites there. Then e-mail them back home to finish, tweak and move to the wiki. It prevented me from mixed up the files as I am dealing with 10 to 20 rewrites at a time. But your right... we do not need the name listed twice.
Also adding a little paragraph at the start may be a good intro to that species... Will ask the membership of the SDC what they think. Canreb (talk) 15:04, 4 May 2014 (CDT)

Hello Rich... I have a personal request. I am trying to spice up my personal characters page and while I may have learned a few things over the years I still have a lot to learn. I added a bunch of pics and some are to big and some are to small. How do I fix that. Also how would I go about putting the 3 diplomas I copied side by side instead of one on top of the other. I also need to find out who was in charge of the academy at the times I did the 3 different courses so I can corret that info on the diplomas. Any help you could give would be appreciated. Thank you. Well we have the go ahead to make the changes to the ESP section of the wiki. Since your the better wizard with the wiki I think you should do that part. Then we need a separate section or page with a list of all the species on the wiki that have one form of ESP or another. I took a look at the T/E page and I hate to say it with some of the completed species that I need to add to the list none of them have Telepathic or Empathic abilities. What I do have is a species with danger sense, one that can start fires, one that can influence others by talking to them, etc... I started to alter the species section to add the following sections, population % with the ability, type of ability and the high, low and average level of the ability. Any more ideas, let me know. Also can I get you to add the following line to the 3 pic templates used at the top of every species wiki page ESP Ability = Yes, Some, Few, Rare, None |, the permitted, restricted and forbidden ones. Hello. A separate ESP banner just for those few species that do have the capability does make sense. I would like to see and maybe comment on the finished product. Academy transcript
Hi Rich, I'm finding the new template for Academy transcripts incredibly confusing as the first semesters for every year seem to be worked a different way to the second and third semesters. I know there is probably a logical reason for this, but to an outsider, it's just confusing. Can you clarify for me? Lieutenant Alexander Richards (talk) 07:57, 5 May 2014 (CDT)
- That would be fine. I did figure it out in the end, still don't know why the listings for the table are different between semester 1 and semesters 2&3 for each year though. Hi, Rich. I was looking over the template and one of the folks I recruited was wondering if there's a way to put more than 60 credit hours on one transcript. Hi Rich. I've got a proposal about the Medical transcripts. From my point of view, counselors and nurses belong to Starfleet Medical, too. Therefore, they should be given a diploma by SF Medical at graduation. I've checked out, that this can be easily done with the existing templates. The diploma as well as the academic transcript would need change in that case.

Major classes
Just had a look at Academy Majors and Minors/Counseling and found it kind of odd that Counselors had to take ENG: Life Support Systems . . . Anyway. Just thought I'd point that out.
Also: There's the Liberal Arts: Application of Creative Design in Holodecks that's mentioned to be a class in the Engineering Majors and Minors, but isn't listed in the Engineering School page. Enlisted Ranks for the PC/PNPC/NPC rosters?
Hi! I was just wondering if you had plans to add the enlisted and marines to those rosters? I noticed an issue when I was trying to add some PNPCs who hold ranks like Petty Officer or Cadet.

Re: switch vs if, I'll look into that and learn it for other stuff, but I think the if is okay for now because I think the colors all match for the DS9, FI, and Slanted but are just different for the Default pips, so two options should be okay. Creating a template like the crew roster.
Hello Rich. Whilst updating the Gemini Awards History today, I was wondering if it would be possible to create a template based on it and if so how to go about it. I know that the <includeonly></includeonly> & <noinclude></noinclude> wiki markup is used to denote what is in the template and what shows on the template page as a guide on how to use it but, beyond that, I'm slightly confused. I can't figure out why the last cell in all of the entries that I put into these templates end up virtical aligned to the top, which screws up the spacing on the pips and stuff. - Thanks for the fix. It's very interesting. Unfortunately, it's created a new problem that, at least, shows up less often than the previous one; it is this: the code for the invisible space character is showing itself instead of the invisble space sometimes. Hi Rich, Rob here. Unfortunately I have had to remove the mention of these talks As they are part of the set up for a story arc the Gemini is currently working on. Essentially it is a multi-mission arc and we are going to be dropping subtle hints regarding the ultimate destination as the story progresses. "Read more" on UFP history
On this page is there an indication we can use at the bottom of the text that people should use the sidebar to read more sections of this? New cadets linking through from the main website may not understand the context of the sidebar, or where exactly they're linking in to. Spacing on Crew History Template
Hey, Rich. I was tinkering in my history box working on the crew history for the USS Challenger and came across a spacing issue that I'm not sure how to remedy. It's at the bottom, in the line of Andrus Jaxx: it's doing the forcing the text into the top thing rather than centering it in the box for the notes. Any help would be appreciated. Hi Rich I changed my Side Bar, on Kael Thomas, and it all worked fine. However, it doesn't refresh on my name page, despite reloading the page etc. It still shows the old navbar. Any help?
Factions
Love the layout and the look. Obviously it is still a work under construction as it does not have the Gorn, Tholian, Dominion, Breen, etc on the list. Ships
As always the work you have done on the ships is out of this world. The only thing I see missing from most of the ship descriptions is how many decks each ship has. I also think you should list if the ship can land on planets, has the ability to separate into two sections and if it is still in production with the start and end data for said production.
