Was introduced to grandparents' traditions early on in life.Went to public school and worked in retail for a year after graduation be for entering Starfleet Academy. Do to his experiences he has gain an understanding of others but prefers people to teat him as a human. This is why he keep his hair shoulder length to hide his Vulcan ears.
