Nicholas graduated from the academy in 2397, specializing in helm and command. He was posted to the USS Arrow in 2398 as a Deck Officer overseeing the operations of the shuttle bays.
He is a friendly type of person, albeit a bit sarcastic with a very dry sense of humour. He is an accomplished pilot and was an academy graduate and acquaintance of Regan Wilde. The two have a previous social friendship with each other, which over their time at the academy developed into a romance, a heartbreak and now a rivalry. The two don't see eye to eye and are both outspoken against the other.
