Personal History

Father George Tozer died when she was 8 of a brain aneurysm.

Mother Thelma remarried two years later to K’chut, a Klingon she met while on a trip to Deep Space Nine (without her daughter).

By the time she was 15, K’chut had taught her the basics of wielding the bat’leth. He suggested she change her name to simply Toz to which she quickly agreed. Within the year, K’chut adopted her officially, re-naming her Toz.

Toz spent two years in a Seattle community college studying for Star Fleet academy. She managed to get into the academy with high marks - better than she thought she would do. She graduated sixth in a class of 241.
