Her husband, Wallace and Adelaide are as close as close can get and are extremely fond of eachother. Adelaide gave up her Teaching carreer for a while to join Wallace at the Embassy
Wallace his brother, Adelaide sees him as a younger brother, while Terrance sees her as a slightly older sister.

Adelaide got multiple phd's quite early in her life, She is a Doctor/Proffesor in Astral, Xeno and Bacterial biological studies and knows many races and customs, her work is well known through out the Federation and she enjoys her work. She joined her Husband Wallace Williams not only because she wanted to be with him, but she took the chance to venture to a part of space that is still mostly unknown in a astral biological way, allowing her to expand her knowledge and works.
