Molly Rainhorse was born in Mesa, Arizona in 2363 to Meche Rainhorse, a ship builder/engineer. Her mother has never told her who her father is, although Molly has a couple suspicions about who he may be. She is Native American of Navajo decent and is very proud of her heritage. She is an only child who grew up around people who built starships. She always wondered what it would be like to travel in one amongst the stars and go on great adventures. She decided she wanted to be a doctor when she was 10 and helped to save her mother's life after an engineering accident she witnessed. She loves cats and horses.
